Corvid

The crows are busy just now. There were two dancing about in the leaves as I walked round the river. This one stood still for me to take its photograph. Handsome and intelligent birds and very noisy.

I'd been up to have another look at yesterday's fungus forest and as I suspected lots of the mushrooms are already deliquescing. See extra. There are a few still standing and I saw a couple of new fruits but I think the best of it is over.

It's a damp and breezy day. Not a day for a long walk. A day for peeling and stewing the wrinkly apples I've been ignoring for a couple of weeks. Crumble tonight.
