Informal Trading on My One Street

It was another scorcher today and I was pleased to have got to the end of a long week.

We stayed late at school because we had a braai evening for the Primary School families. Staying so far from the school we just waited at school until the evening. I used the time to catch-up on some work in my classroom and prepare new posters for us to introduce the 7 Habits of Happy Children to our classes next week.

We went down to the shops to buy some lunch and I took some photos of my One Street. There are many informal traders along the street some of whom actually sleep on the pavement. The crafts they sell are very attractive and creative. I enjoy seeing new ideas pop up every now and then.



My Joy Today:
~ Watching the children play on the field as it got dark and the braai fires got ready.
~ Playing with a collegues year old baby.
