Classic Thames Landscape

Today we took a long walk alongside the River Thames from the Buscot Lock and Weir to the Anchor Boat Club, hidden away on a bend in the river.

The morning light on the trees created the look of a classic landscape painting, while the passing cruiser gives a modern twist.

We also made a short return visit to Buscot Park; to admire the autumn colours in the beautiful Four Seasons garden, as the park will close for the winter at the start of November.

With this, and the early autumn evenings, our world seems to be shrinking down.  I am tempted to consider hibernating!
