Happy birthday mum! xx

Blimey I'm whacked typing this now.

Awoken by hungry boy Pete at 7.30 wanting his breakfast. Up and the usual 2 cuppas needed to get me going.

Off to mums for lovely birthday breakfast with her. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, washed down with Buck's Fizz. We couldn't do it for her 70th last year as she was ill, so made it this time.

Did my DIY bit and made up the vegetable trough I'd bought mum. Took 2 hrs....a bad workman etc etc

Good walk in the glorious sunshine with pete. Still v v muddy and I went full length over a stile! Would've paid good money to see that (as wouldve Jeremy beagle in his day!). Was lovely and warm on the walk, can't wait til I'm walking the fields in my shorts and short sleeves.

Bath for stinky pete and then shower for me before off out for a lovely meal at the nuthall got mums bday.

Home, and a few jobs done and the end of a fabulous weekend, the first signs of spring upon us!
