Whilst the collection of paths outside the RIE are useful for avoiding things like Wisps and Craigmillar Castle Road, there's no way of avoiding the newishly-segregated lane on the way back to them from collecting a free bicycle storage pulley. In the other lane the leaves were too thick to be safely used in the rain without spikey tyres, but the Dalkeithbound lane was mostly usable, though eight or so wands had to be screwed back in.
