Silly Saturday ...

... Happy Hallowe'en!

Before lunch this morning I sat on the deck with Zelda the Witch in order to get my SquirrelEtc blip .... I've also used a shot from that photoshoot in this collage.  The squirrel's reaction to anything new put out is always so much fun to watch ... and silly!

After lunch we needed to get to Lowe's so we used this as an excuse for a walk at a nearby rail trail ... the D & L trail.  This trail links five different counties and is 165 miles.   You can read more about it here.

Richard had brought along the pirate hat seen in our Silly Saturday Selfie and we stopped along the way to get that shot.  But not before seeing a cyclist take a nasty tumble from his bike.  He looked to be in considerable pain but later on passed us again and seemed to be okay. 

Also seen in my collage is Cheddar's reaction to trying on the pirate hat!  He wasn't excited about it at all!  Nor was Kiera ... she was quite bored with it actually!

Much later into the evening we went out with the 600mm lens to take shots of the Hallowe'en full, blue moon ... please see extra.  We didn't stay out long as it was cold! Two shots and I was done!
