Happy Chappie!
Frank was pleased to get his beloved guitar back today. All the frets have been redone and he said the man - Daz - (he looked quite clean! :-D))) had done a really good job. Bella was not too impressed! She doesn't hate the sound of the guitar like she hates the fiddle and mandolin though.
Last night she was scared of the fireworks but I put a triple folded neck warmer round her ears and a folded heavy blanket on top of her - it calmed her down. I read that on line.
This morning I couldn't do much as my leg was aching like toothache from my knee to my toes even though I took painkillers. Frank said I should try his tens machine. So he fixed it all up. It was really good when it was all attached but straight afterwards I said it hadn't made much difference. However later, the pain had settled and I walked to the post office so it must have worked! I was posting Lucy's birthday card which I had made myself yesterday - a picture of her singing 'You are my Sunshine' with her new birthday dress on. I forgot to take a photo otherwise it would have been an extra!
The treacle toffee didn't quite harden but if we keep it in the freezer and break bits off it is perfect and tastes yummy!
Sabrina has asked me to make jumpers for 2 elf on the shelf dolls. In December she wants to amuse the girls with their daily antics and pretend they've been up to mischief in the night. I'm pleased they are not being used as Santa's little spies for bad behaviour - some are apparently!
Our eldest Granddaughter, Poppy - nearly eleven - is now on instagram and we can send each other messages now. It's lovely to be able to connect on there as it will be a while before we can see them. They live in the little village of Moniaive in South West Scotland.
The wait goes on for U S election results and Mr President is throwing tantrums. Why can't he admit possible defeat graciously like any normal person? I don't really understand the U S election process, it seems very complicated. I do worry about the aftermath :-(
Maybe we'll know more tomorrow.
Goodnight, stay safe and well. :-)X
