Time And Tide

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Prince and I took Murphy to Cramond for a walk today. The tide was right out so we wandered over to the island which neither of us had ever been to before. Every time I’ve ever been there, it hasn’t been safe to cross and no one wants to be the eejit who gets stuck across there!

When we came back, we stopped at the ice cream van (which was deserted as it was cold and raining) for Murphy (see extra)*. Two women passing commented that no one would want ice cream on such a miserable day but then noticed Murphy happily munching - “Oh, so that’s what it’s there for.”
