Indoor day looking out

A long day of waiting for an important phone call which finally came “after hours” and was good news.
I am not an avid football fan but do take a great interest in the sociology of the game. As I write this Scotland had almost beaten Serbia only to concede an equaliser in the 90th minute! No crowd. No travelling tartan army. No pubs open in the central belt. Everyone in silos in front of the tv or listening on the radio. Inevitably a penalty shoot out after 1-1 in extra time ... yes! An interesting summer of Euro 2020 football awaits in the summer of 2021!
