Mid Term

We had Ben today which was a like a breath of fresh air or rather a hurricane blowing into the house.  We went to kinclaven to bluebell wood where he likes to throw himself around on the big tree swing.

Ben and I were discussing Barbara, and there were a few questions about her being in hospital and what was wrong with her . He thought for a moment then said that he thought that most of the old people that die just now are dying of broken hearts.  I kind of choked.  Ben has more empathy at 10 than a lot of people ever have.    He understands deeply and that’s a gift.  

I appreciate very much the kind words left on yesterday’s blip on my neighbour and friend Barbara.  Thank you so much.
