A Gift
These flowers were waiting by the front door when we got home from our walk…And it’s flower friday (!) so I thot I’d blip them for a change. The woman that cuts our hair in the neighborhood left them…she’s a great gardener….her business is definitely down and she may just shut down… which will be a loss (but she’ll let me know first) . so I had some fun playing with the flowers. (extra is how we found them and another in my other journal)
The next Seattle opera is online tonight. Last night was the Pacific Northwest Ballet, which did an excellent job portraying what they need to go thru , editing wise, to put on these gorgeous dances. ()they are social distancing, so editing pieces to look like more are on the stage at one time…it’s awesome) One piece used parts of the whole empty auditorium in a poignant reminder of how it is. But one wonders how can it possibly continue. With just a tiny portion of their usual ticket sales…. the opera production has a lot to live up to…we’ll see…Oh we do need the arts and the artists need to perform …but people need to eat too…. it’s all so hard to fathom…
