Before the rain

Walked to the shop for a paper this morning and the rest of the plans for today have been thwarted by rain.  
I have been invited by No1 son to watch Strictly at their house again and supper.  It will be worth braving the weather.
It has been a very dark and dismal day and I will be grateful for the company
