Morning Sun, Morning Snow
A cold wind from the north, and it brought wintery showers overnight, and more throughout the day. The sun soon came up, and mostly sunny all day. It's calmer tonight, and clearer skies.
Another day working in the museum, and we've had a steady day of visitors. Big Brian and Madeline popped by this evening, and then I headed out walkies with Sammy. On our return, mam and dad popped by for a cuppa. Feet up now. We've had two new cases of coronavirus in Shetland, this time foreign fishermen. I hope they recover soon, but this does put unexpected pressure on our hospital and medical team.
Winter officially started today, with the first wintery showers, snow and haily-puckles. There was a light dusting over houses, hills and roads, but its it looking like it will last long. Hopefully with this being 2020, we will get a really snowy winter, like we used to get. The morning sun rising, reflecting off the windows in King Harald Street, Lerwick.
