Light and shadow

Lazy morning, 10am breakfast, 11am hound walk. Fabulous sunny morning. Sunshine highlighted all manner of surfaces. Noticed among the moss on top of a wall, crisscrossing spiderweb threads were catching the low light and rippling in the breeze. Even the moss had a halo effect lighting its extremities.
After lunch sat reading in bedroom's south facing bay window which is more comfortable than in the searing summer.
Heating back on, curtains drawn and hunkering down.
