Morning in Arrowtown

Early starts can be confusing, especially when The Bossess is "playing away" as I am never too sure what The Boss has in mind. It was up and breakfast (both of us) and grab camera and hop into Suzz and drive to gas station and gas up and drive up Cardrona valley and keep going over the hill to Arrowtown. Stop and leap out of car...Just The Boss...wait until the road was clear of traffic, which took a surprisingly long time at that time of the morning and hey presto. Another Blip is born.
I would not like you to think that we went all the way to Arrowtown for a Blip as the ultimate destination was a place where The Boss had been "Dicked" around a bit, their words NOT The Boss's, and 15 minutes later he left with a friendly smile and a swollen credit card and all was right with the world. The Moral of the story was "if you can't fix it just give the money back" and The second moral of the story would have been "Maybe extended warranties are a good idea in these days of unrepairable laptops" i.e It needed a part. The only part in it, is a mother board and there wasn't one. (11 months after purchase). Hmmmmm?
Anyway case closed. All happy, and with that we returned to home following a lot of cars and a Camper van whose driver had never heard of the "pull over and let folk pass" concept. It was a lovely relaxed drive I thought.

Look to the left and look to the right and you'll never never get run over.

Oh just for the International folk, Arrowtown was an old mining settlement 100 years or so ago. Today it is a beautifully restored tourist destination and a must see if you are going to Queenstown. These old miners cottages are a delight but do arrive early to beat the parked cars.
