Frieda

Marianna, Frieda and I met up for a morning walk: a bit of playtime in the big playground at Rivelin, and then a wander alongside the river.  Frieda has a new tricycle (the kind with a convenient handle at the back, so you can push without having to lean over and get backache). She was excited to ride it along the muddy, bumpy paths.
It was busy along there, as it's one of the most popular local spots for a lockdown outing, for families, runners, dog walkers and so on. Everyone was being considerate though, giving each other space.
And then there's the fabulous cafe near the playground, still open for outdoor takeaways. Frieda was delighted to get a child-size hot chocolate, and proceeded to clutch it to her chest (lid on, fortunately) while she continued to explore.
