Quod oculus meus videt

Golden Fern

A day off and crossing duty for the ladies.  I walked around the plantations while L on Meg went further afield.  We bumped into each other and a plan was hatched to grab some bacon sandwiches from the local cafe (now operating as a takeaway).  The poacher's pockets in my coat helped to keep them warm until we'd got back to the yard.

The sun was out but only penetrating small parts of the plantation, including this fern which glowed in the sunlight.  No tripod so a rather high ISO.  The camera coped with it admirably, as one might expect for a sensor that leads in its low light performance.
