Old Man’s Beard

I am not yet in the mood for a Christmas wreath, but today on my walk I collected some Old Man’s Beard from the hedgerow and put it with some ivy to make a winter wreath. It will last a couple of weeks until such time as I get myself into the Christmas spirit.
My walk is becoming increasingly hampered by some overhanging ivy which means I have to step right to the edge of the path on a busy road. Today I took a photograph and filled in an excellent county council complaint form and hope this will prompt them to do something about it. (See extra)
