Saturday: Sechelt

Our accommodation has an outdoor shower which felt like a very invigorating way to start the day.  We did a good amount of walking today, first at Smuggler’s Cove, then in Halfmoon Bay, by the water, and then in Sechelt.  At various points we stopped to just sit and enjoy the water and views - we’ve really lucked out with the weather.

We also have a hot tub with beautiful views.  I had a go when we got back in the evening.  Unfortunately, K. isn’t able to go in due to her recent surgery but she tells me she enjoyed it vicariously.  

She cooked up a splendid steak on the barbecue this evening, although she did manage to singe off parts of her eyebrows and eyelashes in the process.
