It’s The Weather

We continued with what was an uneventful journey until;
490 miles and 9 hours into the journey and just over the Scottish Border all traffic on the motorway came to a standstill for three and a half hours due to the snowfall.
The next 200 miles took around seven hours, Josh wondered if we would make it for the restaurant booking but we did.
We are staying in a specially set aside Army Married Quarter, perfect as a base.
A quick drop of luggage and sort out, hugs with Josh and off we went for a delightful birthday dinner. As I sat looking at Sam & Josh I realised this was my first ‘pub pint’ since February.
By now visibly wilting it was back to base where we were all safely tucked up in bed by 8:30pm.
