Funky chicken

This is one of the coolest things I've seen for a while! This is ASIMO - hes been in Edinburgh over the weekend opening the Science Festival. He was pretty awesome. I want one! He can walk - balancing himself, avoid obstacles (that are not predetermined or programmed), speak, recognise objects, climb stairs, and even dance (yes, he did the funky chicken dance, along with "big fish, little fish, cardboard box"!) The link is to youtube - this show is a lot slicker (and cheesier!) than the one we saw, and yes, you can find clips of him falling over...poor guy.

Brilliant Sunday. Nice to see Adam and Lisa again after so long...can't wait for our trip to Oban with them next month. Back to work tomorrow...but only a 4 day week :-)
