Bed time
I knew he would have a use - emergency blip of the puppy. It's heading towards bedtime, he has adopted a bean bag as his second bed (he is banned from the sofa, communicating this can be tricky).
Last day of lectures today, assignments set, so that is Christmas taken care of... Another day tomorrow of 'interest lectures', which will be far less intense. Fantastic last exercise where we had to give a piece of positive feedback to each member of our learning team, it was such a good, positive exercise to do - and yet so simple. Weirdly, I haven't ever done anything like it.
Managed a 15 minute walk with the husband and puppy at lunch time. My lecture over-ran, then he had a call - and then I had to get back ready for the afternoon. We might both be at home, but we still barely see each other (he is good at making me cups of tea mid-lecture though!)
Today I'm grateful for:
The last day of before and after school club tomorrow, the boys are shattered (the messing around at bed-time by them hasn't helped).
Positive day, and great feedback
School lunches, the boys have been through a packed lunch phase, which has added to the morning rush. Thankfully, school lunches are back in fashion - small, but does help the morning's go smoothly!
