Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

JR went off early to the supermarket, while I did my biking. I searched for something to watch to take my mind off the tedium. It’s amazing that in the whole of Britbox, ie the ‘best’ of UK tv from the 70s, I can’t find anything I want to watch.

We are watching a kind of crazy French Netflix series ‘Le Bazar de la Charité’. It’s based on a true story, apparently. It’s weird, but the costumes are nice. It has been dubbed into English (unfortunately) but the English subtitles and the dialogue usually don’t match. I prefer picking up a wee bit of French.

After lunch we took Archie up the hill. It’s a bit hard to take different photos - over the years I’ve done every angle and every view there is. I’ve done so many on this spot, but the sky was nice today. We met three schnauzers, two we meet regularly - Sammy and Rosie, and a new chap - Stanley. I then popped to visit Uncle A, while the others walked home.

Another day of nothing much to report. *Yawn*
