...But on the whole a successful card-writing day.

Some folk get in there first with their Seasonal Greetings, and then the writing process is lengthened by having to ‘reply’.
(This can be interesting with old friends, especially when their first question is ‘How’s yer belly where the pig bit yer?’).

At least there’s a loaf :-/
