Truth is, Covid and poor mental health have both been features of this year. And we need to tackle both. Covid has disproportionately affected BAME groups and isolation has impacted particularly badly on young people’s mental health.

I’m physically and mentally in a good place at the moment and very grateful for it, although my fatigue is a bit random. Out twice today. Coffee with my boys in the morning and out again in the afternoon for a haircut (although sadly the salon closes for good next week and the lovely Anastasia will be out of a job).

Finished reading The God Of Small Things. Heavy going, it gave a different angle on the Indian psyche but the experimental structure didn’t really bring  me closer to feeling anything for the characters. 

Looks like Christmas as planned may be cancelled due to another Covid spike. But a Brexit deal now seems imminent, surprise surprise ...
