Built On Sand

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

There is always a day in the build up to Christmas that feels like an annoying chore day. Often it’s the 23rd, but this year it was today. I was on call 8 - 6 which meant being stuck inside. The benefit is that is that the house is sparkly clean!

The announcement today about the additional Christmas restrictions and going into a nationwide tier 4 on Boxing Day definitely had a deflating affect on all of us. The good thing is, that unlike March, there is light at the end of the tunnel now. In a few months, the world will be completely different and we will be finding a much easier new normal.

I think mulled wine is the way to get through January!
