Day 273 It's a goal!

A poor quality phone photo but I had to seize the moment when Peggy Sue leapt high, not to catch a football as it looks, but one of her silver foil balls that she is so fond of retrieving.  She tires of the game quite quickly, so if I had gone to get my camera I would have missed her splendid leap.
In other news: nothing new thank goodness.  Last night's announcements were bad enough that we don't need more.
I received an email that I didn't notice yesterday to say that our one remaining event booked for Violet on Monday, A Winter Wander in Capel Manor Gardens, is now cancelled.
My close friend C and her partner H also received an email today to inform them that their civil partnership ceremony, due to take place on Tuesday and for which Mr MC and I were to be witnesses, is also now cancelled.
Currently it is still legal to walk in the street and look at other folks' Christmas lights, presumably because that constitutes exercise.  Where's that unicorn!
