A meeting with Father Christmas!

Violet had a second chance to meet Father Christmas this year as we were able to take her to Myddleton House to meet him.  We were very lucky that we booked for today as he is only able to meet children today and tomorrow and cannot come on Wednesday or Thursday as originally planned.  There was a steady trickle of young visitors but it was nowhere near as busy as two years ago.  There was one advantage because of that:  Violet was able to have a nice long chat with Father Christmas!
Meanwhile the threat of further Covid restrictions remain in the background.  Happy days.
