Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Look who popped in this morning in his new pram! Rufus and his mum came to drop in some Christmas presents. Archie insisted on a wee try of the pram (not) but declared it to be a bit scary, and definitely too restricting. But Christine can now venture further and let Ruf out for just a wee toddle.

It was very cold as we sat outside with Robert to have a coffee, and Archie gave him his ‘Thanks for the walkies’ Christmas present.

After that, I did nothing much, but JR was busy busy busy, making soup, spring cleaning (with ladders) for most of the day. I was watching the BBC news channel and reading Twitter and the papers. Got to keep up with all the Bad News. Those poor (3,000-odd) lorry drivers!

Later on, I took Archie round a few blocks and I didn’t even stop for a coffee, though we did sit on a bench for a while.

We’re enjoying watching ‘The Night Manager’ again on iPlayer.
