More FM Vineyard Tour

Lots of prep today for the birthday party tomorrow. Cake made for the family birthday celebrations, plus allergy friendly cupcakes for the friend party. I've run the menu past the mum of the child who needs things egg and dairy free, and I think we've cracked it. Fingers crossed.

This afternoon/evening, we went to a concert in a local vineyard. We went along with a local family we're friends with. The gig was full of locals (I guess when you live out of the action part of the city, and it comes to you, you make the most of it...as we did), and the kids had plenty of playmates who they knew. The sun was belting when we arrived, and the sky gave us some fabulous views when the sun went down. It was a totally chilled evening. The girls had their first mosh pit experience with Missy Higgins (pictured here), and also Op Shop. We danced like crazed loons and had a marvellous time.

My favourite quote of the evening from the Youngest (before all the moshing etc happened) was "It's not that good. It's too much like Glee, far too much singing".

Well done to Turanga Creek Vineyard, they pulled it off so well.
