Christmas 2020

Our first Christmas at home on our own. We were uncertain, to be honest. But the we found a lot more ways than expected to have a gorgeous day. 

She wouldn't open a present until she watched me the unwrap one she's been dying to give me. We paused to go for a sunrise, snow dusted run through the woods and in icy puddles. Feet (on a onesie) brought shrieks of delight. Church was joined by the cast of Harry Potter. Presents were opened over zoom. Video calls made hearts happy. I successfully cooked my first full Christmas dinner. We watched the sunset. Then carolling outside before tonight's zoom games. Merry Christmas, all
