Alnwick Garden

Ailie and I had 7.5 miles round the moor this morning - we’d intended driving to Tosson to do the Brough but I was apprehensive about all the black ice. In fact walking along the street was hazardous enough. We set off in sun then the mist came down so it got chilly but eventually the sun re-appeared. It was all quite magical.

Equally as magical was the light show around Alnwick Gardens. Much as I object to subsidising the nobility, in lieu of there being no pantos this year, I treated the daughters and grandchildren to tickets. It was all really pretty and we had a lovely time. Apart from Mr C who took a while to get over the fact that he had to pay £3 to park the car.

I’ve walked 10 miles and 25000 steps today.
