A frosty day

It has been about zero all day today, no inclination to be outdoors. 
It has been a strange day, hard to believe that this is New Year’s  Eve, but we won’t be sorry to see the end of 2020 and look forward to a healthier 2021. A feeling shared with the population I’m sure. 
It hasn’t been an unhappy year for me, just a difficult one. At the end of it all I’m just very grateful to have survived my medical hiccup during the summer and be here to look forward to the freedom that eventually awaits us next year.
We are sharing fireworks on WhatsApp after midnight here with friends in Canada. Don’t ask I haven’t a clue how it will work out!!!
