Happy New Year everyone

When the kids were growing up, we had friends around for new year - lots food , fun, silly games ( Pictionary a firm favourite!) But at the end of a year that will be remembered for all the wrong reasons , being a party pooper and going to bed before midnight seemed a good idea.

The bonus was up and out on our walk this morning soon after 8, we walked up to Blackborough, through to Bodimscombe, and then back home, the hills were sheet ice, and the other side of the hill had a good covering of lovley crunchy snow. We were nearly back, when the boss who decided to come onto the verge where I was to avoid the ice, slipped backwards, he hardly landed on his bum, as his head seemed to take most of the force. Fortunatly we were only about 200 yrds from home. I'm sure he'll be stiff tomorrow.
