Great White Egret

I went on another walk along the Merse today and got a lovely view of this great white egret .They are quite a rare visitor to Scotland. So I felt v lucky to get this photograph.
The other photo i think is of a reed bunting.
I’ve have been feeling pretty low again today. I was glad I made the effort to get out for a walk.
I bumped into some friends Kerry and Steve ( a fellow blipper ) towards the end of the walk and enjoyed chatting to them as the sunset.
No owl sighing today.
I went home for a hot bath to warm up as it’s bitterly cold outdoors.
