Winter Branches

I'm finding these conditions a real struggle. I looked for anything that stood out against the stark white, logs, trees and in this case a few branches, cemented in place by the frozen ice. I suppose the ice is still a different shade and texture, but how long will that last.

I tried to give a little bit of definition to the snow pockets and undulations, but in the flat light, there wasn't much to work with. Thank goodness the tall grasses haven't been buried and provided some variation.
