Aftermath

This bin looks like it hasn’t been emptied all year. I find the empty mince pie box amusing, amidst all the coffee cups. Clearly a well organised Christmas picnic, en plaine air so as to get ‘round the lockdown rules.

We took down the Christmas tree and decorations today and restored the house to normality; still cosy and welcoming ‘though. We have fairy lights all year ‘round. Managed to tidy up the garden a bit too, after the mess made by storm Bella. 

Wonderful long FaceTime with TGR tonight. I love our Saturday night calls. We were on for an hour and a half this week ...
