Boarded up

Across the road from where I live. 

Prestwich is reckoned to be a 'desirable' location, reflected in house prices, but this has stood empty for ages. I live in a huge house, split into flats, and this looks to be similar in size. Perhaps eight small flats, or four family-sized ones - just a guess. The structure looks fine.

At a time when our green belt is under threat from new housing, it seems wrong that properties like this are allowed to stand empty for years and years.
