the state of the Universe

Currently reading about a wilder Derbyshire. Rewilding projects are being supported by Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. Land purchases to create Nature Reserves and encouraging and guiding landowners to do things differently to give the land a chance to recover from intensive farming or neglect. Some of this made the local TV news at an area I had to look up called Sunart (not Highland )

New Scientist- The state of the Universe is next!  This makes me think of Woody Allen’s  Annie Hall character Alvy Singer  as a boy he downed tools and gave up after hearing that the Universe was expanding. His mother took him to the doctor who assured him he had nothing to worry about as it would be billions of years before the earth was ripped apart!

I am looking forward to an updating of my first impressions that Alvy was correct and there is plenty to worry about.
