Crinkly (Day 2054)

Today's job in Stromness was to have a look at a leak in a bathroom in a rented house. I met the landlord at the house and having had a look under the bath gave him the bad news that to seal the bath properly and stop the leak, I would have to remove the bath, take off the tiles and strip off the old, damp plasterboard, then re-fit everything with new stuff. He wasn't overly pleased with my assessment but asked for a quote anyway. He also asked that I have a look at a "little job" in his shower room. Another terminally leaking installation which needs completely ripped out and re-done.
Home for lunch with my beautiful wife and time for a bit of a catch up before she zoomed to work and I headed to town to get prices for stuff and collect some stuff and things.
