Accidental buzzard
I was happily surprised to discover I had captured a buzzard which I didn’t notice until I was downloading my photos with a view to blipping something quite different. My attention had been focused on getting a decent shot of Pollok House while maintaining my balance as Islay sniffed and snuffled at the end of the leash.
The extra blip is an irresistible (to me) one of Islay who seems to have acquired the ability to snooze with at least one eye open.
I have managed to avoid most of the new bulletins today, thus far. Interesting comment from Kenny Farquharson in the Times today about the moral and political tensions raised by the vaccine situation. Already in Glasgow there have been glitches with NHS staff queuing for several hours outdoors in indoor clothing for a jag that never arrived. The potential for political fallout across the four nations must be huge. I don’t think human behaviour is always a good example of applied moral philosophy.
Anyway, there might be a possibility of a holiday in the autumn, suggests Jason Leitch. A deep, hot and long bath is called for, (and clean pyjamas wafting of Ecover to offset the bath).
