a walk in the park

I was in town today for my weekly shop. Just one shop, in and out as quickly as possible. It was fairly quiet, I was relieved to see.

Afterwards, I went for a walk through Dock park to Kingolm Quay and back through Castledykes Park, avoiding the slippy bits. The temperature only just got above freezing. There were lots of families out enjoying the fresh air, and children on bikes.

Tonight the temperature has plummeted here and we are expecting snow. So I'm glad I don't have to go out again for a while :-)
