Snow birds

All rather winter wonderland this morning. There was a little more bird activity than of late, the thrush, pigeons and magpie were the only ones that hang around. A couple of robins and the blue tits and coal tits were far too jumpy.
Later in the afternoon I had another go with the robin and managed to capture him/her/them in a short moment of contemplation which is the extra blip.
So far the outdoor cyclamen appears to be OK, no flowers but the leaves look healthy and it’s survived five days of sub zero temperatures, which I suppose is what they are used to in the Troodos Mountains. Ah… the memories of mornings in deep snow, outdoor lunch in Omodos and afternoons of warm sunshine at Curium.
