We haven’t ventured outside at all today which is very unusual for us . There are layers of snow underlain by ice and although we have spikes we just didn’t feel like taking any extra risks . Not much fun for Bramble but she had two massive walks on Wednesday so I expect she will cope . 
We have spent the day putting away many things and mending others  plus trying to  find a plumber to fix our ailing boiler ( with no luck) our usual plumber is ill with COVID , it’s creeping ever closer , we have had a close encounter of our own and  will need to be watchful although not close enough to be required to isolate. 
I slept until 10 am this morning and would have slept longer except for the cup of tea brought by my beloved. 
Then we did Day 5 of the Breath Yoga Course led by Adriene. 2 million tuned in to day one , by day 5 it was down to 42 000. 
Before putting  away the generous gifts given to me during advent and Christmas I thought I would take a picture of a few so that I had something to blip . 
The books will be of interest to some of you as will the “northern lights “ - a pack of special pine cones that burn in your fire pit / place producing lovely dancing colours . One of my brothers gave me a Tongue Drum which I had never heard off . When I looked it up the info explained that you can hit two or more notes at a time and that every combination is melodic , you can’t go wrong . As you can see ,  I will have plenty of pleasant things to do during this latest lockdown , l feel very grateful for the thoughtfulness that has come my way .
