My bearded man
Out and about wearing our Christmas gifts , here Dave models his new from my sister , new walking socks from one of my brothers, new weatherproof gloves from another brother and a check shirt from yet another brother . I think that the giving of gifts is our “language of love “
Later on in the day my beloved shaved off his beard so he is now my unbearded man !
In the background you can just about make out a snow covered Pendle Hill.
The big challenge of the day was to obtain a PCR test , I need one in order to see my dad on Monday . There are some covid cases at the home and at first all visits were postponed but they have said that I can go if I first get PCR test , I booked online and then went this afternoon. Sadly the results might not come back in time but I appreciate that the Manager of the Home has tried to make a visit possible . Hopefully I will get to see him .
Now to watch another episode of
The Wheel of Time . It’s so exciting that I can only watch one episode at a time and need to watch it early enough so that I can read something calm before heading to bed .
Feral by George Monbiot is my calm read of the moment.
