A chilly walk

We really need to get to the bottom of why Phin is waking up in the night as he was up at 3 again. I slept through it and was up just before 7 to give him breakfast. We both dozed on the sofa for a while but the sound of cars on the icy roads kept catching his attention so he was up and down at the window!

A quick walk on the frozen grass before we nipped to the fish shop and supermarket. Fitted in a quick visit to Costco where my favourite white wine was on special offer!

Home to empty the car before I headed down to my bubble friend for a catch up. We walked to her local shopping centre as she had a prescription to collect from the chemist. It was pretty chilly but lovely and crisp and we managed just over 6km in the hour we were out. It was lovely to catch up.

Driving home was a little tricky as it was -5 according to the car temperature gauge.

Enjoyed delicious lemon sole with some illicit chips for dinner before I finished the last of the granny squares. Only 3 more to make and I will be ready to join them together.

Blip is of the gorgeous flowers Miss PHL received from her friends at the start of the week. The scent is glorious!
