Snow and sun

There was a sprinkling of snow and some ice around thismorning but we couldn't resist going back up to the Racecourse where the snow lasts longer as it's high ground.

We were not disappointed as the snow was still thick and was beautiful with the sun shining and the sky blue.  We had a lovely walk around the Racecourse and lanes and met a friend who was out on his walk too. It was good catching up with him (at a safe distance).
