An Afternoon Stroll

Lockdown 3 - Day 5

We planned to go out for an early walk this morning but it was really foggy, so we decided to leave it and Alan did a few jobs around the house while I did the cleaning.  Then later on this afternoon we walked down to the coast and over the cliffs towards Peacehaven.  We didn't want to go on the undercliff walk as it looked quite busy, and less people walk over the top.  On the way back we walked over the Tye and and watched the sun setting over the sea, and then headed home for a home made curry.

Remembering Dad on what would have been his 92nd birthday today, and we heard that our lovely friends Chris and Tony had lost Tony's mum to Covid tonight.  Maureen lived with Chris and Tony, but both of them had tested negative so they think that one of her carers must have had it.  It's so sad - stay safe!
