Winter Wonderland

Lockdown 3 - Day 6

When I looked out of the window at 7.30am it was really clear with a slight tint of pink in the sky, and very frosty.  I looked out again about 5 minutes later and it was foggy! Then 5 minutes later it looked like it was lifting slightly, so I decided to go out for a walk before too many people were up and about.

It was like a winter wonderland, the frost was so heavy and the light was really atmospheric, so I didn't actually walk very far but I took lots of photos!  The dew pond was completely frozen over and looked lovely with the white bushes.

I got home about 10am and had a hot chocolate to warm up before making bacon butties for breakfast.  I was so glad that I went out early as for the rest of the day there were so many people walking past the house.

The rest of the day has been pretty relaxing, spent editing my photos and then I made a Sunday roast.  Now it's feet up and TV time, so I'll try and catch up with you all.   Hope you've had a good weekend!
