Standing on thin ice

A walk from the house to our nearest area of water. A large office block on one side, a leisure hub for the business park on the other. The extra gives a rather different perspective.

It may be early January, but one or two of the gulls are developing smudgy heads. They will all be on the turn soon as the breeding season approaches. Spring is closer than we think.
